Our team works in a variety of roles, including Nanny, Babysitter, Family Assistant, Household Manager, and Elder Companion Caregiver.

Requirements

• Nanny & Babysitter

  • Currently pursuing or have completed education in child development, education or a related field and/or have at least three years of professional experience working with children and/or young adults

  • Be available for a minimum one year commitment

• Family Assistant & Household Manager

  • Have relevant professional experience in childcare, household management, personal assistance, hospitality, or a related field is required

  • Be available for a minimum one year commitment

• Elder Companion Caregiver

  • Be in college studying human services, social work, psychology, nursing, gerontology, or a related field; have a degree in a related field; and/or have at least three years of professional experience working with older adults

  • Be available for a minimum commitment of one 4-6 hour shift with an older adult

• Must pass a national criminal background check, county-level criminal check, sex offender search, and motor vehicle check

• Be eligible to work in the U.S.

• CPR/First Aid certification must be obtained prior to working with a family

Our application is about three pages long and includes questions about:

• Role & Availability: Your availability and the position(s) you are interested in, (ie. Nanny, Babysitter, Family Assistant, Household Manager, and Elder Companion Caregiver)

• Professional Background & Experience: Your education, employment history, and relevant experience working with children, young adults, older adults, or in household support roles

  • Please provide up to 10 years of relevant work experience

• Short Answer Questions: Four questions designed to help us learn more about your experience, approach to caregiving, and interest in working through Peace of Mind Nannies
